Rider Points

New Feature

Sep 13, 2026  ·  v2.30.444

Riders had figures but no score to compete on.

🏆 Now, under Business Settings → Rider Service Settings: • Switch on rider points and set four numbers: per delivery, bonus on time, deduction when late, deduction per returned order • Points are counted per month from the same figures as the performance summary • Riders see theirs in the app; managers see the table under Options → Rider → Performance

Result: A fair monthly score, from numbers you already trust.

A Delivery Code Without Any Messaging Service

New Feature

Sep 13, 2026  ·  v2.30.443

Requiring a customer code at the door needed WhatsApp, SMS or e-mail; restaurants with none of them could not use it.

🔐 Now: • With no channel set up, a four-digit delivery code appears on the order view and the Delivery grid • The counter reads it to the customer on the confirmation call • The rider asks for it at the door and the app verifies it; the rider never sees it

Result: Proof of delivery for every restaurant, at no cost.

Riders Can Record Card or Wallet Payments at the Door

New Feature

Sep 13, 2026  ·  v2.30.441

Every delivered order counted as cash the rider owed, even when the customer paid by card machine or wallet.

💳 Now: • Cash stays the default • Tick the methods riders may record under Options → Rider → Settings and grant "Collect other than cash" in the role • The rider picks the method on Deliver • Cash in hand counts cash only, and the hand-in shows the card and wallet amounts so the cashier posts each bill with the right method

Result: The hand-in matches what the rider really carries.

Runs Show Up on Their Own

Improvement

Sep 13, 2026  ·  v2.30.438

A rider's run only existed when they used the batch button, so the counter's Rider Runs stayed empty.

🛣️ Now: • The first pick opens a run, every pick joins it, the last delivery or return closes it • Picking several orders at once joins the same run • Options → Rider → Runs lists every run of the day

Result: Every trip is on record without the rider doing anything extra.

Options → Rider: Everything About Your Riders in One Place

New Feature

Sep 13, 2026  ·  v2.30.436

Hand-ins, returned orders, problems riders reported and their runs were scattered across modals on the Delivery tab, and some had no screen at all.

🛵 Now, under Options → Rider: • Hand-ins of the week with Confirm, Settle and Cancel • Returned orders with the reason and a one-click Reassign • Problems riders report, marked seen or closed with a note the rider sees • Today's runs • A live map of riders out delivering • Hours on duty per rider per day • Settings, and a Create Rider Role button for restaurants that never got one

Result: One page runs the riders.

Rider App Explains Why a Check-Out Was Refused

Bug Fix

Sep 13, 2026  ·  v2.30.449

When the rider app refused a check-out or a payment, it could not say why, because the reason was dropped before it reached the app.

🛵 Now: A refused check-out names the orders the rider still has out • A refused payment lists the methods the restaurant allows • An order already in a run says which run it belongs to • Returned orders show the latest attempt first

🧾 Also: The Proofs tab on the Rider page appears only when the restaurant asks for delivery proof

Result: A rider always sees what to fix before the next order.

Check Your WhatsApp Message Usage in System Settings

New Feature

Sep 13, 2026  ·  v2.30.446

Restaurants sending WhatsApp messages had no way to see how many they had used this month, last month or how many credits were left.

📊 Now, under System settings: Press Check Usage on the System tab • See the messages sent this month and last month • See the credits left, where the messaging service reports them • The check asks the same service the branch's messages go through, so the numbers match what was sent

Result: The message count and the credits are one click away.

All Rider Settings in One Place

Improvement

Sep 12, 2026  ·  v2.30.434

The rider switches were scattered across the Business tab, the POS tab and the end of the page.

⚙️ Now, under Business Settings → Rider Service Settings: • What the rider sees: assigned orders only, address after pickup, tips, print button • Proof of delivery: door photo, customer code • Customer tracking link • Rider portal • Each switch explains itself in one line

Result: Set up riders from one section, not four corners of the page.

Rider Remarks Show on the Delivery Grid and the Order View

Improvement

Sep 12, 2026  ·  v2.30.432

Remarks a rider typed in the rider app were saved but the cashier had nowhere to read them on the Delivery tab.

💬 Now: • The Remarks column of the Delivery grid shows the rider's lines, marked with the rider icon • The order view (View order) carries a Rider remarks row • Every line is kept; older ones no longer fall off

Result: What the rider saw at the door reaches the counter.

Riders Cannot Check Out With Orders Still Out

Improvement

Sep 12, 2026  ·  v2.30.429

A rider could press Check out on the rider portal or in the rider app while orders were still out with them, and the counter lost track of who held the food and the cash.

🛵 Now: • Check out is refused until every picked-up order is delivered or returned to the counter • The message says how many orders are still out • The same rule applies on the web rider portal and in the rider app

Result: A rider's day ends only when the orders do.

Rider App: First Pick Wins, Tracking Links Follow the Switch, Waiter Token Fix

Bug Fix

Sep 12, 2026  ·  v2.30.427

Two riders, one order. When two riders reach for the same unassigned order at the same moment, one conditional write now decides it — the first pick wins, the second is told order taken. The same claim protects auto-assignment, and an order the POS left as rider 0 is treated as unassigned like a blank one.

Customer tracking links go quiet when the restaurant turns the feature off after sharing them, instead of staying live. The dispatcher's live rider map channel now authorises on the signed-in branch session (it could never admit anyone before).

Waiter app: the sign-in response carried the token of the previous sign-in; it now carries the one just issued. Also: rider hand-in modal currency symbol, off-duty counters, a tenant-wide entitlement limit no longer lost under a restaurant's own row, and three duplicate language keys removed.

Rider App: the order's items now include deals and add-ons

Bug Fix

Sep 12, 2026  ·  v2.30.426

The order detail in the rider app listed simple items only. It now shows the whole bag as the bill prints it: every item with its add-ons, and every deal with the items inside it and their add-ons, so a rider checks the bag against the same list the counter sees.
